Job summary

Matheson is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell welding products to business and industrial establishments or individuals by visiting customers at their location, shows, or offices.

You will travel throughout the assigned territory to solicit orders, demonstrate products, quote prices, prepare contracts, and coordinate customer training while maintaining records and supporting inside sales.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Welding Technology or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on customers and solicit orders.
• Displays or demonstrates products and quotes prices and terms.
• Maintains records of business transactions and expenses.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Coordinates customer training and supports inside sales when needed.
• Enters new customer data and other sales information into the database.
