Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell welding products to business and industrial establishments within the assigned Texas territory. Travel to customer sites, showrooms, and trade events may be required.

You will compile leads, visit customers, quote prices, prepare contracts, coordinate deliveries, and support inside sales to maintain up-to-date account activity and literature.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules and manuals.
• Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers and coworkers.
• Calculates figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Sells Nippon Sanso Matheson products to businesses and individuals in the field.
• Travels within assigned Texas territory to call on customers and solicit orders.
• Demonstrates products using samples or catalogs and highlights features.
• Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Maintains customer data and records in the computer system.
