Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking a driven entry-level Sales Representative to cover a local territory in person. This outside-sales role meets business owners and employees, operates as an independent contractor, and offers a flexible schedule built around appointments and prospecting.

You'll learn the sales playbook, present benefit options, build relationships, and guide clients through coverage choices, with mentoring and licensing help to obtain a Health & Life general lines license

Qualifications

• Ability to meet with decision-makers in person in a local territory.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with time-management and organizational abilities.
• Willing to obtain Health & Life license within 90 days with training support.
• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend company-set appointments and meet decision-makers at small and mid-size businesses.
• Deliver clear, friendly benefit presentations to groups and individuals.
• Help clients choose coverage and support them through follow-up and claims guidance.
• Track activity, leads, and client info in our CRM (Salesforce).
• Prospect for referrals, follow up on leads, and build your own book of business.
• Work with your mentor and manager to set weekly and monthly goals.
• Report activity and celebrate wins with the team.
