Job summary

Distribution International seeks an Outside Sales Representative to drive territory growth and profitability. You will cultivate relationships with customers, prepare quotes, and present product solutions, while leveraging the CRM for disciplined account management.

The role requires 18+, a valid license, 1+ year of outside B2B sales, and overnight travel up to a 250-mile radius. Base plus commission and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of outside sales experience selling business to business.
• Overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, reports, and product/industry presentations to customers at all levels within the customer’s company.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Utilize the company CRM to build a database for account calls, prospects, activities, objectives, and results.
• Plan sales activities/trips to maximize coverage while keeping travel expenses within budgets.
