Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect families with high-speed data, mobile, and voice services through face-to-face visits in your community. You will visit assigned leads, analyze needs, present tailored proposals, and close deals to help grow Spectrum’s customer base.

This role requires travel by car, outdoor work mostly, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Spectrum offers a base salary plus incentives and benefits, including free Spectrum services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer-facing sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to assigned territories.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Multilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
