Job summary

Astound is hiring for an outside sales role in the Greater Boston area. You will prospect, qualify, and close sales for residential services in a door-to-door capacity, with a $39,900 base salary plus uncapped commissions.

You can achieve six-figure earnings through performance, with total on-target earnings up to $89,000. This field-based position requires reliable transportation and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in field-based environment.
• Excellent communications, relationship building, and time management skills.
• Sales or marketing background in telecommunications is a plus.
• Must be motivated, self-starter and comfortable working autonomously.
• Must meet physical requirements: walking, lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within an assigned territory
• Identify and sell appropriate products and services to meet the customer’s needs
• Engage in technical discussions with potential customers through demonstrations and presentations
• Execute the sales strategy to increase sales within respective territories
• Prepare sales information for customers
• Distribute marketing material and participate in special sale events
• Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within the product/service line
• Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
• Enjoys working outdoors "on the hunt" since 90% of all work is in the field
• Excellent communications, relationship building, organizational, presentation and influence skills
• You have a positive, creative and persuasive personality
• Must be a motivated, self-starter and comfortable with working autonomously
• Must be detail oriented and has highly developed organizational and time management skills
• You are sales-quota driven
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record per Company Policy.
• Proficient in Microsoft products
