Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and expand access to Spectrum high-speed data and telecom services. You will visit leads, tailor recommendations, and present compelling proposals while handling orders and documentation.

You’ll work mostly outdoors, with evenings and weekends required to maximize contact with potential customers. This role offers base pay plus commissions, qualifying for total compensation exceeding $100,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to travel door to door to assigned territories and work evenings/weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting leads and introducing Spectrum offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations.
• Present sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete required sales documentation, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors' activities and report insights to management.
