Job summary

Charter Communications, trading as Spectrum, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to connect communities with high-speed data and communication services. You will meet face-to-face with prospective customers, conduct needs analyses, and present tailored proposals to drive growth and satisfaction.

A base salary plus incentives can reach six figures annually. Role involves ~90% outdoor work, flexible evenings/weekends, and travel within assigned territories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to listen, assess needs, and articulate pitches to sell products.
• Willingness to travel to assigned territories and work evenings/weekends.
• Familiarity with consumer/enterprise devices and common software/apps.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospect.
• Present compelling sales proposals aligned with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning and order entry.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitor activity and relay insights to management.
