Job summary

Charter Communications, trading as Spectrum, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect customers with our high-speed data and telecom services. You\'ll meet with prospective clients face-to-face, conduct needs analyses, and present tailored proposals while working to exceed monthly targets across data, mobile, landline, and video offerings.

The role requires outdoor work ~90% of the time, evenings/weekends availability, and a valid driver\'s license with reliable personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services.
• A passion to succeed and strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• A valid driver\'s license, car insurance, driving record, and use of a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum\'s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum\'s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors\' activities and report to your manager.
