Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Lake Charles, LA to drive profitable sales by building strong customer relationships and delivering tailored product solutions.

You will promote products, collaborate with internal and supplier teams, manage accounts, and travel to client sites to grow market presence while maintaining high levels of customer service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers.
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence.
• Product and application knowledge essential.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products.
• Increase business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies.
• Assist customers with product selection and application utilizing knowledge and supplier resources.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Learn customer operations to tailor solutions to their objectives and needs.
• Coordinate sales calls with vendors to introduce and demonstrate products and promote solutions.
• Utilize and champion digital tools, customer solutions and services to gain a competitive advantage.
• Travels to offsite locations to meet customers and opportunities.
