Cozzini Bros., Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our nationwide market presence. This role is an individual contributor field sales position managing relationships with commercial kitchens in the assigned territory and closing new accounts.

You will start with an onboarding plan including field training, shadowing top performers, and a later Cozzini University session in Chicago. A competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice or kitchen equipment sales.
• Proven track record in remote field sales.
• Strong communication and prospecting skills.
• Ability to meet pre-employment and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute 15+ in-person sales contacts daily (≈70 weekly).
• Leave a minimum of 8 knife trials with prospects weekly.
• Establish a minimum of 5 new customers weekly via cold calling, networking, social media, and leads.
• Deliver 4+ upsells within existing accounts (e.g., can openers, blades).
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and inventory of sales knives.
• Collaborate with service and support teams to close deals smoothly.
• Perform duties safely (knife handling, driving company vehicle, kitchen environment).
• Maintain company vehicle and manage field activities efficiently.
