Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an entry-level Sales Representative to cover a local territory and meet business owners and employees in person. This outside sales role is structured as an independent contractor with a flexible schedule and coaching from mentors and managers.

You will learn to present benefit options clearly, build long-term relationships, and guide clients through coverage choices. Training includes licensing support to obtain Life & Health general lines within 90 days,

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required — we hire for attitude and train for skill.
• Willing to obtain Life & Health license within 90 days.
• Coachable, energetic, and ready to learn on your feet.
• Enjoy talking to people and building genuine connections.
• Ability to manage time, set priorities, and follow systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend company-set appointments and meet decision-makers at small and mid-size businesses.
• Deliver clear, friendly benefit presentations to groups and individuals.
• Help clients choose coverage and support them through follow-up and claims guidance.
• Track activity, leads, and client info in our CRM (Salesforce).
• Prospect for referrals, follow up on leads, and build your own book of business.
• Work with your mentor and manager to set weekly and monthly goals.
• Report activity and celebrate wins with the team.
