• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, and/or account management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience supervising/managing other employees and a budget.
• Strong delegation skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.
• Problem solving and service oriented attitude.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegating work assignments with feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling tactics by analyzing key metrics to educate partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and other marketing tools and events.
• Develop recruiting plans, interview and hire to build the Merchandiser team while managing the budget.
• Provide job training and communicate product knowledge across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers in proper merchandising of product lines and use of point-of-purchase materials.
