ScottsMiracle‑Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a Field Sales team, manage a territory with major home center partners, and drive in-store presence of Scotts brands. You’ll develop plans, supervise Merchandisers, and manage budgeting while expanding key retailer relationships.

The role includes bonus potential, vehicle reimbursement, and leadership opportunities within the business and with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience supervising or managing employees and a budget preferred.
• Strong delegation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.
• Problem solving and service orientation.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and handle outdoor conditions.

Responsabilités

• Manage and direct Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegation with feedback.
• Use strategic selling to educate home center partners on opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and promotional tools.
• Develop recruiting plans, interview and hire Merchandisers while managing budget.
• Provide product knowledge and training across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers with proper merchandising and POS materials.
