ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the Field Sales team and drive in-store presence with major home center partners. You will develop and execute sales/marketing plans, manage budgets, and supervise Merchandisers across your territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience supervising others and managing a budget preferred.
• Strong delegation skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.
• Problem-solving and service-oriented attitude.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to walk, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and withstand weather.

Responsibilities

• Direct Merchandisers and delegate work with feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling tactics and educate partners on opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and promotional tools.
• Recruit, interview and hire to build Merchandiser team within budget.
• Provide product knowledge across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers with proper merchandising and use of point-of-purchase materials.
