ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a Field Sales team and manage an assigned territory. You will build relationships with major home center partners, develop sales/marketing plans, and oversee merchandising execution while supervising a team of Merchandisers.

The role offers leadership opportunities, bonus potential, and a competitive pay range. You will travel within your territory, manage budgets, and drive in-store presence for Scotts brands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience supervising others and managing a budget preferred.
• Strong delegation and independent working skills.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegating work assignments along with providing ongoing feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling tactics by analyzing and preparing key metrics to educate our home center retail partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and other creative marketing tools and events.
• Develop recruiting plans, interviewing, and make hiring decisions to build out your Merchandiser team while effectively managing your budget.
• Provide job training and communicate product knowledge across the portfolio of Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers in proper merchandising of Scott’s product lines, including the use of point-of-purchase materials, as appropriate, to meet account needs.
