Job summary

Altria Group Distribution Company is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Field Sales Force. You’ll manage an assigned geography with about 130 established retail accounts and roughly $15 million in annual revenue within a non-commission sales environment, supported by a hands-on training program.

You’ll develop sales plans, promote company initiatives to retailers, advise on category management and pricing, and use data analytics to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and distribution within a given geography, including merchandising as needed
• Promote company initiatives to retail partners including promotions, new brands, inventory management and pricing strategies
• Consult and engage with retail partners on category management and business analytics
• Develop insights through data analysis, branding, product placement and planning
• Track progress against marketing initiatives and other business metrics
• Grow leadership capability through training and high impact experiences
