Job summary

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments in the United States is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to sell and support the Analytical Instrument portfolio across assigned accounts. You will build long-term relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires a life science degree, 3 years of sales experience with analytical instruments, travel up to 50%, strong technical knowledge, and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in life science (Chemistry preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience with analytical instruments (GC, HPLC, MS, Spectroscopy).
• Strong technical knowledge of analytical instrumentation and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; manage and grow existing accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and deliver technical presentations.
• Coordinate with field application specialists to deliver solutions and meet customer needs.
• Generate quotes, negotiate terms, and manage the closing process.
