Job summary

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Engineer II to join our team. In this field-based role you will promote and grow sales of Shimadzu’s analytical instrumentation portfolio, take ownership of a defined territory and develop plans for year-over-year growth.

You will pursue new opportunities, expand relationships within key accounts, and deliver consultative product guidance at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science; Chemistry strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of successful sales experience with analytical instruments.
• Strong technical aptitude with understanding of instrumentation and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; manage and grow existing accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
