Job summary

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments seeks a Field Sales Engineer I in Houston, TX. You will sell and support Shimadzu's analytical instrument portfolio, building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for strategic growth.

The role requires at least 3 years in sales and a life science degree (Chemistry preferred); you will collaborate with field specialists and lab teams to deliver technical solutions and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science; Chemistry strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in field sales or applicable roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage new client opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Provide consultative support, deliver technical presentations, and represent Shimadzu at events.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Generate quotes, negotiate terms, and manage the closing process.
