Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to sell and support our analytical instrument portfolio. You will cultivate long-term customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service.

You will serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets while leveraging a comprehensive benefits package and a company car with a fuel card. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or life sciences required.
• At least 3 years selling analytical instruments (GC/HPLC, GCMS/LCMS).
• Strong technical knowledge; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• CRM experience and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow new and existing client accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Provide consultative product guidance and deliver technical presentations.
• Coordinate with field specialists to deliver solutions and quotes.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and closing procedures.
