Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for delivering the Empire in-home experience through a designated team of Flooring Consultants. The role is primarily field-based, with real-time observation and coaching of in-home sales interactions to drive customer satisfaction and market results.

You will coach, develop and coach teams in a fast-paced environment, owning the end-to-end in-home sales process and ensuring consultants use Empire offerings

Qualifications

• Two years of sales leadership and coaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Strong ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.
• Proven capability to coach and influence performance in a field-based environment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Self-motivated leader who can guide teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• In-Field Coaching & Development: spend 50% of time in the field doing ride-a-longs and coaching.
• Sales Process Ownership: act as market expert on end-to-end in-home sales experience.
• Performance Coaching & Accountability: translate data into coaching priorities.
• Collaborative and Brand-conscious decisional authority in field settings.
• Team Development & Capacity Building and onboarding of new Flooring Consultants.
• Other duties as assigned.
