Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead in-home sales coaching, development of Flooring Consultants, and execution of the Home Floor Advantage program. You will spend substantial time in the field observing interactions, coaching to improve customer experience, and driving performance across the market.

The role emphasizes leadership, field-based coaching, and ensuring consultants use Empire offerings and technology to maximize sales results.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales leadership and coaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Strong observation, diagnosing and coaching skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Spend 50% in the field coaching and developing Flooring Consultants.
• Observe real-time customer interactions and provide actionable coaching.
• Translate performance data into coaching priorities for each consultant.
• Lead skill-building sessions and field observation to reinforce best practices.
• Onboard new Flooring Consultants with immersive field training.
• Support adherence to Empire brand experiences and pricing parameters.
