Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager who serves as the subject matter expert for delivering the in-home experience through a designated team of Flooring Consultants. The role is primarily field-based, focusing on in-field coaching and live demonstrations to drive customer experience and market results.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales leadership and coaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Strong ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.
• Proven capability to coach and influence performance in a field-based environment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license to support field activities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook).
• Self-motivate, lead teams, and succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• In-field coaching and development through ride-alongs and observation to improve customer experience.
• Observe real-time customer interactions and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and prospecting skills.
• Deliver immediate, actionable coaching to strengthen customer engagement and conversion.
• Establish and reinforce sales process ownership and expertise.
• Translate performance data into coaching priorities for each consultant.
• Lead skill-building sessions and onboarding of new Flooring Consultants.
• Exercise decision authority to enable growth and development of Flooring Consultants in the field.
• Other duties as assigned.
