Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager to deliver in-home sales excellence through a designated team of Flooring Consultants. The role is primarily field-based, observing sales interactions in homes and providing real-time coaching to improve customer experience and market results.

Responsibilities include in-field coaching, owning the sales process end-to-end, and translating performance data into actionable development plans that drive conversion, ticket size, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Strong ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.

Responsibilities

• In-Field Coaching & Development: spend substantial time in the field coaching and observing ride-alongs to improve customer experience.
• Sales Process Ownership & Expertise: act as market expert on end-to-end in-home sales experience and brand standards.
• Performance Coaching & Accountability: translate performance data into coaching priorities and track KPI improvements.
• Collaborative and Brand-conscious Decisional Authority: exercise authority to enable growth and hold field teams accountable.
