Job summary

Garney Construction seeks a Safety Manager to ensure safety is the top priority on water and sewer pipeline projects. You will review, implement, and enforce safety standards across project management and field teams, and conduct daily site inspections and incident investigations.

The role requires an engineering-related degree, OSHA 30, and CHST within six months. Travel or relocation flexibility is essential to support multiple job sites and ongoing safety programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
• Must have or be able to obtain CHST within 6 months of employment.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate

Responsibilities

• Review, implement, and assist with safety regulations and standards for project management and field personnel.
• Conduct safety training for job site personnel.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazards.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations
