Job summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure safety is the top priority on water and sewer pipeline projects. You will lead safety programs, train staff, inspect sites, and investigate incidents to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/ mechanical/ construction engineering or safety-related field.
• OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
• Must obtain CHST within 6 months of employment.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Review, implement, and assist with safety regulations and standards for project management and field personnel.
• Conduct safety training for job site personnel.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazards.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations.
