Job summary

Thryv is recruiting an Outside Software Account Representative for the Santa Rosa area. You will drive growth by expanding existing software engagements and winning new SaaS clients from a remote-first base while meeting sales quotas.

You will work with clients to identify needs, present opportunities, and close deals. You’ll participate in ongoing product training, certify on offerings, and collaborate with marketing and tech teams to refine solutions for local businesses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company)
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Time and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Increase Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales.
• This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota.
• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (cadences for client and prospect engagement, product certifications, order entry, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
