Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow and expand our SaaS client base in local markets. You will build your own pipeline from scratch through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting, with >50% of work outside of a home office.

You will identify local business owners, qualify opportunities, and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey while collaborating with marketing and tech teams to implement strategy and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• 2+ years of outbound sales with full-cycle selling experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong relationship-building.
• Must live within commuting distance to the posting city and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work remotely and conduct sales demonstrations per company processes.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market.
• Build and manage your own pipeline from scratch through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting.
• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Conduct demonstrations and drive the sales process to meet quota.
