Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics or technical manuals.
• Knowledge of rigging gear and load movement safety procedures.
• Willing to learn and follow safety requirements including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, or disassemble rigging based on load specs.
• Select appropriate gear (cables, pulleys, winches) per load and area.
• Visually inspect rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Signal or communicate with workers during hoisting and movement.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment as needed.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
