Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Willing to learn and follow safety requirements with PPE.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for certain positions.
• Three to five years of rigging experience or directly relatable work.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to attach loads and secure equipment.
• Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches based on load.
• Signal and communicate with workers to ensure safety.
• Move and position loads using rigging lines and hoists.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment when not rigging.
• Dismantle, inspect, and store rigging equipment after use.
