Job summary

MEI is seeking a Rigger for full-time field operations in Atlanta, GA. You will assemble, disassemble, and test rigging gear and assist with related tasks to relocate and secure machinery, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, selecting appropriate gear, and communicating safely with the team using signals. A strong emphasis on safety and proper PPE usage is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to take direction and closely follow instruction.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals as required.
• Familiar with safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL endorsements may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand/power tools.
• Select appropriate gear based on load size/weight and job specs.
• Communicate hazards and signals with team during rigging operations.
• Operate or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment as needed.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
