Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and emerging trends.

Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you will support field tests, demonstrations, and roadmaps across expeditionary, littoral, and tactical networks, with up to 50% travel and a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defence tech.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing, or tactical communications systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting languages (Python, C++) for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to verify architectures are sound.
• Align work with strategic priorities and provide technical demonstrations.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
