Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property, for the Allegheny County/Pittsburgh area. This remote-friendly program trains you in claim handling and customer service while working toward independent claims responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and one year of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to investigate and evaluate all relevant facts and information and determine coverage per policy terms.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
