Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher; strong communication skills; willingness to obtain licenses as required.
Experience in customer service or insurance is helpful.
Willingness to obtain active adjuster license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

Participate in training covering policies, claims processes, systems and procedures.
Review and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties.
Learn to investigate and evaluate facts, including leases and contracts.
Determine and apply coverage for building damages per policy terms.
Maintain accurate records in claims management systems.
Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
Adapt to new technology and digital tools.
