Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property to join a remote field team serving Allegheny County/Pittsburgh. You will receive comprehensive training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation while working alongside seasoned professionals.

The program develops your ability to manage 1st party property claims and progress toward full claims handling. Based in the Pittsburgh area, you will work remotely with a mix of mobile work and occasional Travelers office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering policies, claim processes, and systems.
• Review and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and witnesses.
• Determine coverage for building damages per policy terms.
• Establish scope of damages for building and contents losses for estimates.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and digital tools.
