Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property, in the Montgomery County, MD area. This remote field position includes training in claim handling and policy interpretation, with 9–12 months in a program to develop independent claims skills. A company vehicle is provided.

The role focuses on first-party property claims, requires a valid license where applicable, and may involve travel and catastrophe deployment across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; internship/work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses and third parties.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records in claim management systems and adapt to new technology.
