Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager in the United States to lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will oversee field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and contribute to safety and quality on site. A strong customer focus and leadership ability are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Supervision and installation experience with building automation, fire alarm or electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope of work.
• Coordinate installation plan with Project Coordinator and implement job procedures.
• Supervise Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field and mentor team.
• Coordinate subcontractors on-site and verify quality assurance standards.
• Assist in project coordination, identify scope changes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Identify risks and help minimize impact on costs and deadlines.
• Ensure installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire, and/or building automation systems.
• Perform other duties as required.
