Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, system start-up, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will coordinate with the project team to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule, while upholding Convergint's values and culture.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on field supervision experience, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, with readiness to travel to various sites

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 relevant
• Certifications: Product-specific certifications, Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses (e.g., Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone, ONSSI, AXIS).

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope of work.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Mentors and develops colleagues; plans, assigns and directs work.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and on-site activities, ensuring QA standards.
• Assists in project coordination, scope changes, and customer satisfaction improvements.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
