Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up/check-out, certification and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure projects meet contractual scope, budget and schedules while working with the project team.

You will supervise field staff, coordinate subcontractors, and manage on-site activities with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing field projects for building automation, fire alarm, or security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; strong math skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to job sites with valid driver's license.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management for projects within budget and scope.
• Collaborates with Project Coordinator to plan installation and procedures.
• Mentors field technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinates subcontractors and ensures quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with codes and company standards.
• Provides training and technical support to customers.
