Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule, working with management and the project team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

This role emphasizes leadership, on-site supervision, and ongoing customer satisfaction as Convergint grows and delivers world-class service.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 relevant years of field experience.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm or electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management of projects to ensure on-time completion within budget and contract scope.
• Develops installation plans with the Project Coordinator and enforces job procedures.
• Supervises crews, installers, and subcontractors including mentoring and directing work.
• Coordinates subcontractors and ensures quality assurance per codes and standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, and services security, fire/life-safety, and building automation systems.
• Maintains strong customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
