Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will work with management to ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule, mentoring site teams and coordinating with subcontractors.

The role emphasizes delivering world-class service, strong integrity, growth, and accountability within Convergint’s values-driven culture and diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to regularly work under pressure.
• Strong supervision skills and installation experience related to building automation and security systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
• Self-starter who works well without supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope.
• Prepares project installation plan and implements job procedures with the Project Coordinator.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors; mentoring and directing work.
• Coordinates subcontractors and directs on-site activities; ensures quality standards.
• Identifies scope changes and recommends improvements to customer satisfaction.
