Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will manage site activities, coordinate with the project team, and ensure work meets contractual scope and safety standards.

You will supervise field staff and subcontractors, mitigate risks, and maintain schedule adherence while delivering world-class service to customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Education: college degree, trade school, or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of relevant field project management experience.
• Experience with building automation, fire/life safety, or electronic security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Coordinate installation plans and job procedures with the Project Coordinator.
• Supervise project team and subcontractors in the field.
• Ensure quality and compliance with codes and company standards.
• Coordinate with customers to provide training and support.
