Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager for full-time, on-site work installing, programming, startup/check-out, and certifying fire, security, and/or building automation projects. You will train customers and work with a project team to meet contractual scope, budget, and schedule.

You will join a culture focused on service, growth, and accountability, with opportunities to advance as Convergint grows. The role requires strong customer focus and hands-on leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years relevant field experience required.
• Strong field supervision and installation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall site management of project(s) within budget and scope.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field staff.
• Mentor and develop colleagues; plan, assign and direct work.
• Install, program, test, and service systems on site.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect schedule and costs.
