Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, and startup activities across fire, security, and building automation projects. You will oversee site management, coordinate with the Project Coordinator, and guide Project Specialists and installers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

You should bring 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints; travel to job sites is frequent with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for project completion within budget and scope.
• Prepare installation plans and implement job procedures with Project Coordinator.
• Supervise Project Specialists, Installers, and subcontractors; coach and develop staff.
• Recruit and hire team members; manage performance of direct reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure quality assurance standards.
• Identify scope changes and recommend process improvements to satisfy customers.
• Ensure installation quality adheres to codes and company standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service fire, life safety, security, and building automation systems.
