Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, and startup on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate with the project team, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and provide customer training and support.

The role requires strong leadership, technical aptitude, and a commitment to quality in line with our standards. Travel to worksites and collaboration with the coordination team are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory and field installation experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator on installation plans and procedures.
• Supervise installers and subcontractors and mentor team members.
• Ensure quality installation per codes and company standards.
• Install, program, test, and service security, fire/life safety, or building automation systems.
• Identify risks and help minimize deviations from cost and schedule.
