Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Production Systems Technician to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on KM production printers and allied devices.

This role requires travel to customer sites, occasional training, and strong networking, driver installation, and firmware upgrade skills. You will train customers on basic print/scan functions and support sales as needed.

• Must possess electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Familiar with printing from common business applications.
• Microsoft OS peer to peer and Mac OS client side of server environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on supplied products and printers.
• Configures and troubleshoots networking issues (Printing/Scanning) on Windows and Mac OS; loads drivers; clones files; transfers address books; performs firmware upgrades.
• Travel locally to customer sites daily and occasionally for training.
• Communicates with management on customer or field issues; completes weekly timesheets and expense reports.
• Provides sales support by advising on problems accounts and service leads.
