Job summary

WM is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee in Tennessee to lead, coach, and develop frontline teams. The role focuses on onboarding, mentoring, and performance management of drivers and helpers, with significant time spent in the field ensuring safety and daily operations run smoothly.

The candidate will build strong relationships with front-line staff, oversee coaching conversations, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with WM’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a field/operations setting.
• Two (2) years of operations management experience preferred (2–4 years).
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage driver and helper performance.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with frontline employees.
• Spend majority of time in the field with frontline teams.
• Ensure onboarding tools, training, and feedback are provided daily.
