Job summary

WM is seeking a role focused on onboarding, developing, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of all drivers and helpers. The successful candidate will spend most of the day in the field with frontline employees, building positive relationships and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The position emphasizes daily onboarding meetings, consistent communication, and continuous improvement of frontline performance. Strong focus on safety and adherence to WM Way.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with two years of relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of all drivers and helpers.
• Maintain positive relationships with front-line employees; spend majority of time in the field.
• Provide tools, instruction and feedback for successful daily duties and onboarding.
• Meet daily with new frontline employees to ensure consistent communication and support.
• Lead safety practices and WM Way; conduct root cause investigations for injuries/incidents.
• Document and audit route operations records per regulatory requirements (e.g., DVIRs).
• Visit customers/sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues and service options.
