Job summary

WM is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee in Wisconsin to onboard, develop, coach, mentor and manage the performance of drivers and helpers. The role spends substantial time in the field with frontline employees, establishing positive relationships and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include guiding onboarding, coaching daily, reviewing best practices, documenting regulatory records (DOT), and visiting customer sites to address safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma with two years of relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, and mentor all drivers and helpers.
• Maintain positive relationships with frontline employees.
• Spend significant time in the field with frontline staff.
• Conduct safety training and uphold the WM Way.
• Document regulatory records and DOT compliance.
• Review route operation records and address safety issues at customer sites.
